PROFESSIONAL STUDIES AND EXPERIENCE:

I received my BS in Behavioral Social Science from the University of Maryland, University College and Masters Degree from Liberty University specializing in Professional Counseling while completing my 20th year in the U.S. Navy where I traveled and experienced life with the greatest group of diverse people you could ever want to meet.

I was born in the eclectic New York City where I spent half my pre-adult years and the other half in rural Virginia, so I understand both cultures very well. I have lived all across America enjoying and becoming familiar with the many different ethnicities that make up who we are. I lived on the island of Guam, Puerto Rico, and Oahu, Hawaii. I often joke that I'm the only person I know that's been an island girl, a Yankee and a Georgia Peach all in one life time. At my core, I am an east coast girl but my joy and happiness stem from being an island girl. There's just something so wonderful about the exotic tropical islands that bring out the best in me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

MY PERSONAL JOURNEY:

A good portion of my life was spent lost without purpose, vision or an understanding of what either of those really meant. I was miserable, confused, weak and just surviving because I hadn't a clue how to get out of the miserable mess called "my life". I spent many wasted years seeking advice from the wrong people, people who were just as lost as I was until one day my mind finally refocused itself. It was quite amazing how I went from years of oblivion to a new found understanding of what had gone wrong, what I was doing to keep myself in that misery, and the secret steps needed to achieve a more fulfilled, personally controlled destiny that the majority of us are never taught how to achieve.

My personal journey in life is the reason I decided to become a life coach. Just about any experience you can imagine a person going through in life, I've been exposed to it in one form or another. I spent years "wanting and wanting" yet never realizing that I really didn't know what specifically I wanted. I just knew I wanted out of what my life had become.

LIFE COACHING:

Being a life coach for the last 10 years has allowed me to assist people with a range of situations, problems, and learning experiences to create new direction in their lives. The primary contributing factors to great life coaching is having an understanding why our lives become what they do and how to change those aspects of our lives to reflect the true creative influences we are often times unaware we possess.

My first and foremost goal always is to create a safe, trusting relationship with my clients to enable you the ability to reveal your deepest thoughts to yourself in order to find what is missing or what needs to be modified. Nothing brings me more joy than hearing back from my clients that they've created the life they are finally happy with. After all, what greater purpose do you have on earth than to be the best "you" possible in order to allow others to be the best "them" they can be.
